Terms of Use

This site is published by an association. These terms say what you may do with it, what we answer for, and what we do not.

Last updated: 19 September 2026

  1. 1. What the site is for

It presents the work of Club des Amis pour la Paix, reports on it, and makes it possible to support it. It is meant for the public: donors, volunteers, partners, the families we work with, journalists. Using it is free and open.

  2. 2. Ownership of content

The texts, photographs and videos published here belong to the association unless stated otherwise. You may quote them or reuse them to talk about CAPP, provided you name the source and do not alter them to the point of changing their meaning. Any commercial reuse needs our written agreement first.

  3. 3. Accuracy

We publish only what we have checked, and we would rather say nothing than say something approximate: a figure, a date or a name that is not yet on this site is one we have not confirmed. Pages are updated as the work goes on, so information can be out of date without being false.

  4. 4. Links to other sites

This site links to our social media accounts and, where relevant, to partners. We control neither their content nor what they do with data. Visiting them falls under their own terms.

  5. 5. Availability

The site is run by a small team. It may be briefly unavailable for maintenance or for a technical reason. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and an outage gives no right to compensation.

  6. 6. Applicable law

These terms fall under Togolese law. A disagreement starts by writing to us: we look for a direct solution before anything else.

A question about this policy?

Write to us: we answer donors, volunteers, families and partners. A policy nobody can question is not worth much.
