Accessibility Statement
This site should be readable by everyone, including with a screen reader, by keyboard, or on a phone in bright sunlight. Here is where we honestly stand.

1. What we aim at
Level AA of the international web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.2). We do not claim full conformance: that is established by an audit, and no audit has been carried out on this site yet.
2. What is in place
Keyboard navigation across the site, with a skip link to the main content. Sufficient contrast in both light and dark themes. Text that enlarges without breaking the layout. Animation that switches off if your system asks for reduced motion. Headings and page landmarks ordered for a screen reader, and the page's language announced correctly, including after a language switch.
3. The gaps we know about
Some published photographs do not yet have a text description: a screen reader announces them as images without saying what they show. Published videos have neither captions nor a transcript. Both depend on writing work across the existing collection; they are identified and in hand.
4. Reporting a barrier
If a page is unusable for you, write to us with the address of the page, what you were trying to do and the equipment you use. We answer within thirty days, and send you the information you were after by another route while the fix is made.

Write to us: we answer donors, volunteers, families and partners. A policy nobody can question is not worth much.
