Image-Use Policy

CAPP is a child-protection organisation. How we photograph and publish the children we work with is part of that protection, not a formality attached to it.

Consent

No image of a child is published on this site without the prior agreement of a parent, guardian, or the institution responsible for them. That agreement is obtained before the photograph is taken and recorded by the association. It covers publication on a public website explicitly, which is a separate and higher bar than publication on social media.

How we photograph

We favour wide shots and scenes of activity over portraits. We never publish a child's full name, their village and their face together. The alternative text on our images describes an activity, never an identity.

How images are used

Images published here serve only to account for our work and to support our fundraising. They are not sold, not passed to third parties, and not used commercially.

Requesting removal

Anyone pictured, or their family, may ask for an image to be removed without giving a reason. Write to us choosing the subject Photograph takedown, or telephone us. We undertake to remove the image from the site within seven days of the request.

Revision

This policy may change. Any version published here replaces the one before it.
